Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi has apologised to team-mate David Luiz for his role in the Brazilian’s red card in the 2-2 draw against Chelsea on Tuesday evening.
The German played a pass back straight into the path of Blues’ striker Tammy Abraham, leaving Luiz one on one with the England international after he rounder goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
Luiz fouled Abraham in the box leading to a penalty – which was converted by Jorginho – and him being shown a red card.
