Latest Arsenal News: Guimaraes transfer blow, Mustafi apologises to Luiz & Ceballos exit hint

Latest Arsenal news from the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners prepare for the FA Cup fourth round tie against Premier League rivals Bournemouth at the Vitality stadium.

After a dramatic 2-2 draw with London rivals Chelsea, attention now turns to the FA Cup fourth round for Arsenal as they bid to make it to the next stage of the competition.

The Gunners face a trip to the South coast to take on Premier League rivals Bournemouth on Monday night

Both teams will be on high spirits after the midweek results, with the Cherries recording a 3-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion to help in their fight against relegation from the Premier League.

As well as a game on the horizon, Arsenal will be hoping to add to their squad over the coming days, with 1st eight days of the January transfer remaining.

So, with that in mind, here is the latest news from the Emirates Stadium over the last 24-hours.

Bruno Guimaraes transfer blow

Midfielder Bruno Guimaraes is one of the many names that has been linked with a January move to the Emirates Stadium over the past few weeks.

It was reported that Edu held talks with the player’s representatives in London last week.

The player himself gave an update on a possible transfer , but latest reports suggest that a deal has been agreed between Athletico Paranaense and another club.

Mustafi’s message to Luiz

Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi has apologised to team-mate David Luiz for his role in the Brazilian’s red card in the 2-2 draw against Chelsea on Tuesday evening.

The German played a pass back straight into the path of Blues’ striker Tammy Abraham, leaving Luiz one on one with the England international after he rounder goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

Luiz fouled Abraham in the box leading to a penalty – which was converted by Jorginho – and him being shown a red card.

Arsenal fought back to draw the game 2-2, but Mustafi has taken to Instagram to send a message to his fellow defender and Arsenal fans.

Layvin Kurzawa price revealed

Kurzawa is one of the names that has been the most heavily linked with a January move to the Emirates Stadium.

Reports claim that the Gunners have already agreed a contract with the full-back for when his deal at Paris Saint-Germain runs out in the summer.

But Arsenal have now found out the price that they will have to pay should they not want to wait six-months for the player to arrive.

Dani Ceballos exit hint

Midfielder Ceballos has not played a minute of football since suffering a hamstring injury in the Europa League group stage game against Vitoria.

He was an unused substitute for both the 1-1 draw against Sheffield United and the 2-2 draw against Chelsea.

The Spanish international is on a season-long loan from Real Madrid, and has sent a hint that his long-term future may not be at the Emirates Stadium with a message to goalscorer Hector Bellerin.
