APC Passes A Vote Of No Confidence On Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has declared that former Governor of the state, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has no legal authority to function in office as National Chairman of the APC.
In a communique at the end of the State Executive Committee meeting held on the 2nd day of November, 2019 at the party secretariat. A conclusion was reached saying: “the ward Executive Members of Ward Ten (10) Etsako West Local Government Area, this 2nd day of November, 2019 looked at what has been happening in our Ward and our Local Government on the activities/actions of our son the National Chairman of APC Comrade Adams Aliu Oshiomhole.”
“Having been dissatisfied with his conduct, members wholly agreed and passed a vote of no confidence on Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole for his Anti-Party activities and hereby suspend him from the party.”
Also, court papers from the Abuja High Court reached an order of Interim Injunction restraining Oshiomhole from parading himself as the National Chairman having been suspended by the Ward 10 Executive Committee of the 3rd Defendant/Respondent on the 2nd day of November 2019 and Ratified by the Etsako West Local Government Executive Committee on the 9th day of November, 2019 without an appeal and the seven days for appeal having pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice for Interlocutory Injunction.”
