— Brahim Diaz signs for Real Madrid until 2025
Brahim Abdelkader Diaz is a Real Madrid player after officially joining the club from Manchester City.
The 19-year-old returns to Spain, five years after leaving Malaga to go to England, and he is immediately available for selection under Santiago Solari.
Negotiations were swift between Madrid and City, with Diaz signing a six-and-a-half-year deal after making it clear that he was not going to renew with Pep Guardiola’s side.
Diaz arrives for 17 million euros, plus a further seven million in add-ons, and he will earn 3.5m net per season, while City retain a 15 percent sell-on fee.
The midfielder is versatile as he can play in any of the attacking positions; up top and on the wing, as well as from deep, and he is also ambidextrous.
He will provide instant competition for all the attacking players at Madrid.
The boy who began at Mortadelo was once on the verge of joining Barcelona, but he will now begin his dream of playing for Los Blancos.
