What is Satsuma?

Satsumas, is a citrus fruit related to the orange It is mostly seedless and has a meltingly tender texture .The satsuma has a thin, leathery skin dotted with large and prominent oil glands, which is lightly attached around the fruit, enabling it to be peeled very easily in comparison to other citrus fruits. Satsumas grown in humid areas may be ripe while the skin is still green. The fruit is round, yellow-orange colored and Bright orange color inside.
