— Ramos was in high spirits during Spain’s training session
Sergio Ramos mocked Cristiano Ronaldo during Spain’s training session after the 3-3 draw with Portugal in their World Cup opener.
Ronaldo scored the opening goal in the fourth minute after the was brought down inside the area by Spain’s right-back Nacho.
The decision to award a penalty divided opinion as Ronaldo went down under minimal conduct from his Real Madrid teammate.
And it appears Ramos didn’t think too highly of Ronaldo’s penalty award as he mimicked the Portugal captain by doing a couple of step-overs before falling to ground in front of Nacho during Spain’s training session.
Several of Ramos’ Spain teammates, including Cesar Azpilicueta and David De Gea, saw the incident and laughed.
Ronaldo was Portugal’s saviour once again as his hat-trick salvaged a point for Portugal in their Group B opener.
The Real Madrid star had put Portugal ahead twice in the match, first from the penalty spot before De Gea’s error led to a second goal shortly before half-time.
But Ronaldo saved the best until the 88th minute as his sublime free-kick comfortably beat De Gea.
Portugal will now face Morocco on Wednesday afternoon, while Spain will play Iran that evening.
