Brad Pitt has reportedly spent some quality time with his kids amid his divorce from Angelina Jolie .
The actor split from his wife of two years last month – after more than a decade together – and it is said he has seen his children for the first time since they announced their breakup.
The L.A. Department of Children and Family Services has maintained an open investigation following allegations Pitt was verbally abusive and got physical with their oldest son, Maddox, during a fight on the family’s private plane.
“Brad loves his children more than anything in this world, and they matter more than anything else to him,” a Pitt source told People in this week’s cover story. “He will do whatever it takes to be with them, now and always.”
It follows reports that Brangelina have reached a temporary custody agreement .
Brad agreed to have the therapist present when he first visits his kids Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
Sources confirmed Brad has also agreed to have random drugs and alcohol tests, completely voluntarily, and the whole family will undergo counselling.
