— Flight chaos as British Airways IT systems go down globally
Flight BA285 was due to depart from London Heathrow for San Francisco at 11.30am on Wednesday 26th April.
But by 3pm, the British Airways (BA) plane was still on the tarmac, due to a “technical fault”.
Disgruntled passengers took to social media to vent their frustration at being trapped in the cabin for hours.
Reporting claim the airline has been victim of a cyber attack.
The outage comes as scores of Britons are headed overseas for the long weekend and half-term school holidays on Saturday morning.

Dear @British_Airways, perhaps it’s time to reinvest all that money you aren’t spending on tea and sandwiches on technology #sleeplessinkiev
